By participating in Tohono Chul Parks Corporate Sponsorship Program, your business can be involved in a win-win situation while making a commitment to sustaining this desert preserve that celebrates and embraces the natural treasures and spirit of the Sonoran Desert. Tohono Chul Park will promote and market your company to the consumer when you sponsor one or more of our many successful special events. Our sponsors receive special recognition for their support of the Park and it is our goal to provide as much visibility and positive exposure for our sponsors as possible. We do everything to communicate to our guests how much we value our sponsors’ support and how important it is to Tohono Chul Park.

Seasonal Concert Series – Tohono Chul Park host a series of four concerts in the Spring and four concerts in the Fall. These events highlight local artists who perform music that is representative of the culture of Tucson and the Sonoran Desert. Concerts are held at 7:00 pm, typically on Thursday evenings in April, May, October and November. The Tohono Chul Park Tea Room remains open for dinner and many of the attendees enjoy a meal and then stroll up the main path to the Performance Garden. Recent attendance has ranged from 175-300.
Park After Dark – This is a family oriented event that historically attracts over 1200 people for a fun evening of musical performances, arts and crafts activities and a puppet show. The intent of the event is to allow children and their parents to gain knowledge of the natural and cultural heritage of the Sonoran desert region, in addition to learning respect for the wildlife of the area and the importance of preserving our environment.
Holiday Nights – With music, treats to eat and over 500,000 twinkling lights and luminarias, this event transforms the Park into a Holiday wonderland. Holiday Nights runs for four magical evenings and attracts over 1,400 people to the Park each night.
Silver Spring Celebration – This event is the Park’s major fundraising event of the year and will take place on March 28, 2010. Commemorating the 25th anniversary of Tohono Chul Park, this special event will feature “local” food, beverage and entertainment amidst a background of blooming wildflowers. A unique silent auction will feature “all thing of the garden” from plants and trees, to garden furniture and features. This year we are planning to host over 400 guests who will partake in exciting activities, garden tours and other “spring surprises.”
Bloom Night – This community event stars the “Queen of the Night” as the mysterious Night Blooming Cereus makes her once-a-year appearance. One night each year is chosen to be the official “Bloom Night.” Mother Nature picks the date and, if we are lucky, gives us about 24 hours notice. This event typically attracts approximately 1,000 people.
Members’ Reception – Each January, members are invited to attend a reception in their honor. Members tour the Park with staff and members of the Board of Directors to learn what’s new and upcoming.
Exhibit Openings and Receptions – Our exhibits reflect the rich ethnic legacy of the Southwest and are strongly community oriented. Each exhibit opens with a reception for approximately 200 invited guests. Invitations are sent to a targeted list of 4,000 Park members, news media, artists and their family and friends.
Volunteer Reception- Every year Tohono Chul Park invites its team of dedicated volunteers and docents for an outdoor brunch and program to express thanks for their commitment to the Park. This event is attended by 150 people.
