Reptile Ramble
The Park’s ever-popular Friday tour, Reptile Ramble, started up again. Docent Trainer Tom McDonald and Docent Ed Moll are back sharing their extensive knowledge and experience with the Sonoran Desert’s variety of scaled and slithery creatures from snakes and lizards to tortoises and turtles.
Fridays at 10am in the Overlook from April 1 – June 25, and August 12 – October 28; free with admission.
 
Hawk Happening
Traveling avian ambassador Sueño and her human, Kathie Schroeder, are back this fall to share secrets in the lives of the Southwest’s amazing Harris’ hawks.
Children’s Ramada, 11am – 1pm, 2nd and 4th Wednesdays, October 12 – December 28  

Tohono Chul Tales & Crafts
Come on down to Barnes & Noble at Foothills Mall where Park docents tell stories and engage families in craft activities based on a variety of desert and ecology-related topics – a different one each month. Tales & Crafts takes place the first Saturday of the month from 11am to 12pm.
