We offer a broad range of food styles, beverages and services to personalize your event in our unique setting or any other location you choose. With more than 72 combined years experience in the restaurant and catering business, the owners and managers of the Tea Room are equipped to help match your needs and expectations to the menus, service and atmosphere that will make your event one to remember.

Tea Room Evening Events

Due to the public operating hours of the Tea Room, evening events encompassing the entire Tea Room may not begin before 6 p.m. If you are renting only the Wilson Room, you may hold your event before 6 p.m.

What's included?

China, glassware and silverware from the Tea Room are included. Linens and other items not available from the Tea Room may be rented for a nominal charge. These must be arranged through the Tea Room catering manager. This service enables us to further customize your event to your tastes and preferences. Additional chairs must be rented if the wedding ceremony takes place in the Tea Room courtyard.

Pricing

Our food and ingredients are of the freshest and highest quality available, and our service is unbeatable! One of our many specialties is to match your food choice with your budgetary requirements. For each event that takes place in the evening, renters will be charged $150 per supervisor and $120 per additional server. The catering manager will determine adequate staffing for your event. A 20 percent gratuity on food and beverage before tax and 6.1 percent tax are applicable on all events.

Other Service Providers

Florists, outside cake vendors (from a licensed bakery ONLY please), D.J.s, musicians and/or any other outside service providers should not arrive or set up before 5:30 p.m. for evening events. Photographers may not use the patio and courtyard areas for photographs until after 6 p.m. However, you may check with the Park's administrative office to determine where photos may be taken before that time.

When renting the Tea Room or Wilson Room spaces, the Tea Room is the only caterer that may be used. If renting the classroom in the Desert Discovery Education Center, limited food may be brought in by the renters or the caterer of your choice. This only applies to the Education Center.
